This is exactly it. I’ve been here 6 weeks, I think. Medium was serving me all the how-to stories for followers and money and made me anxious. It was tipping my creativity toward acquisition. If my primary goal was money and I actually enjoyed writing for its own sake, then I get adjusting to the market for max readership and maybe a scarcity mentality makes sense—because it’s about MORE. My primary goal is expression and I want to write only what inspires me, so MORE means little. More goal is connecting to readers who are walking my same path. Not likely many, but I’m ok with that ;-)
