The personalities at the origin of the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis -- if that's what you mean -- are damn fascinating. The CIP was so important for psychoanalysis in America. Wikipedia and the Institute website have some basic info, but the books and PhD dissertations I've unearthed tell a fascinating story of power and politics. It's just the background for the supervision that will happen but would make a terrific story on its own.
