Early in my husband's relationship with a woman, he was taken to the hospital for an urgent but not dangerous procedure. I took him. She arrived later. She wanted to be with us in the room, but only family, right? Without thinking, we said, she's his sister. Here's the problem.

His procedure required his nudity while they lanced an abscess near his genitals. The halting looks and unspoken questions from the staff make us bust out laughing now. So yeah, his sister stayed and held her brother's hand while they poked around his penis. LOL

Still, she likely would not have been allowed in the room had we been honest.
