People mean different things by โ€œmeat.โ€

Animal protein of any kind is the easiest protein and most nutrient dense food. That includes fish, eggs, dairy, and insects.

If no animal foods at all, then soy is the only complete plant protein. Some concern about it being estrogenic (at least in processed form). Youโ€™ll have to be sure to combine things like beans+rice or pea powder+rice powder if you avoid soy. Youโ€™ll get more carbs and fiber which may not be optimal.

Convenience plant proteins are hard to come by. Bars, shakes. Plant based snacks are usually lower in protein unless they add in whey. Some are higher carb and moderate protein, like 10g protein, so you would want to eat 3 servings, if so. If your goal is weight loss, track those carbs & fat. High protein diet with only plant protein can be tough but keep at it.
