Losing 100 Pounds Was Simple
I exercised while I was fat and stayed fat. Then I quit lying to myself.
I’m going to be blunt in this post because I’m bored with all the years I spent with careful words, gentle coaxing, and euphemisms. I was obese. I was FAT. You may be fat, too. If you’re happy being fat, no point in reading further. If you’re fat and uncomfortable or ashamed or concerned with your future health or just tired of being tired, read on.
Personal trainers have their niches. Most seem interested in athletes and enhancing performance.
I was personal trainer and primal health coach with my own studio for 7 years. I worked with all kinds of clients, but my favorite were deconditioned adults who didn’t like exercise. I enjoyed showing them all the ways there were to move.
The best clients were those who said they wanted to get strong. Why were they the best? Because I could help them! The worst clients were those who said they wanted to lose their belly. Why were they the worst? Because I always disappointed them.
I love exercise. I always exercised. I exercised while I was fat and stayed fat because “burning” calories is bullshit.
