I am SO excited and watched the postponed launch this morning. No big deal to me. The fact they can ever pull off sending missions to space seems like a miracle with all the enginnering that has to go right.

The future missions will include private businesses as well as government funding, I think. I don't have a problem with that. The only problem is how, until very recently, they had no one overseeing the whole program! They received a stern message from Congress and there may be delays just because of that.

I really hope I'm still alive when they finally establish a permanent base on the Moon. Both of my kids are in college and pursuing careers that will give them opportuntities to contribute to the space program (physics and aerospace engineering)
