Damint, Dani, this caused me a lot of anxiety to read because you nailed it so well. My sisters (an older and a twin sister) were both good at this with me and with my mother. We are now estranged, and my mother lives with me. Neither of us has spoken to them in 20 years. I don't put up with a second of this from anyone now, but it was so much harder when I was young and before I gained the language to descibe what was happening.
