I ran into this “soft-landing” thinking on a BDSM board recently and just couldn’t believe the suggestions offered for how a woman should find a way to provide what a man wanted because gosh he was nice. The woman posting hated the activity but had no awareness she could just say no, or that a man who wants a woman to do something she hates isn’t acting with love or consent.
