Astronomy is the science part of astrology. Interpretation is the religious part. I fully embrace its complexities that require study, experience, and faith like any religion. Attacks like this one are misplaced because, like any religion, astrologers have no need to argue with science. Attacks are also offensive, because few who condemn astrologers as foolish would dare to say the same about a Christian or Muslim. I’m happy to accept ridicule from an atheist (and have friends who are) and hope that such an atheist lends their critique even-handedly. Let’s now turn our critical eye upon those who believe in an invisible omnipotent omniscient parent who lives in the sky and whose many adherents lack any proof of any miracle from any century.
