Also keep in mind the ideas of "good-better-best" and "don't make the perfect the enemy of the good." It might be a big jump to go all-or-nothing from sugary soda every day to none at all. Or it may be better for the way you work. You need to find out what works for you. I, myself, drink lots of diet soda. Sure, artificial sugar isn't the best choice, but for me it's a better choice and gets me to my goals.
